The case is a 38 week male three days old with a prenatal diagnosis of trisomy 21 (Down's syndrome) and duodenal atresia based on prenatal ultrasound. At birth the baby was also noted to have an imperforate anus. Post-natal evaluation confirmed the diagnosis of duodenal atresia (Double Bubble on an abdominal xray). His weight is 2.5 KG.
