Thoracic Surgical Procedure With EndoCAMeleon Thoracoscope

This video, prepared by thoracic surgeon Sandeep Khandhar, illustrates a procedure in the left upper lob truncus branch using a 60-degree view with the KARL STORZ EndoCAMeleon® 10mm Thoracoscope. The thoracoscope includes a fully contained swing prism mechanism that allows the angle of view to be adjusted from 0-120 degrees. The surgeon adjusts the angle of view by turning a dial, which virtually eliminates the need for intraoperative thoracoscope changes. The presentation also shows examination of a very small posterior descending artery using a 90-degree view, as well as division using the Ligasure sealing technology.
